Author Compliance Policy Now in Effect

2026-07-24

Effective 25 July 2026, Senarai: Journal of Islamic Heritage and Civilization implements its Author Compliance Policy. By submitting a manuscript, all authors agree to comply with editorial requirements until the manuscript is published, rejected, formally withdrawn, or removed by a final editorial decision.

Authors must respond to editorial communications, complete required revisions, participate in copyediting and proof review, confirm metadata and publication documents, and fulfil the applicable APC obligation. No sanction applies to rejected manuscripts or manuscripts still under review for which no review report or decision has been issued.

Deliberate failure to complete these obligations after a review, revision, or acceptance decision—despite formal notices—constitutes administrative non-compliance. If the article remains academically publishable and no substantive, ethical, licensing, or legal issue prevents publication, the Journal will publish it with an “ADMINISTRATIVE NON-COMPLIANCE NOTICE” and a clear administrative disclaimer.

Following the final determination of the Editor-in-Chief, the Journal will also send a Formal Notice of Objection to the official affiliation of the author found responsible. The author’s name and affiliation will remain displayed in the published article.
